Blue Wave Branch of Wentzville

The Wentzville branch of Blue Wave Martial Arts & Fitness opened in 1990. The instructor's Doug and Jane Flora began training at Blue Wave Martial Arts & Fitness in January of 1999.  Doug earned his 2nd Degree Black Belt on November 8, 2008.  Jane earned her 1st Degree Black Belt on March 31, 2006.  Doug and Jane are employed at Boeing. 

Ther students of the Wentzville branch range in age.  The branch meets twice a week for an hour.  The branch meets at Heritage Elementary 601 Carr St. Wentzville, MO 63385 in the Multi Purpose Room.  Classes at the Wentzville branch are structured in the same way as Doug and Jane learned from Master David Blevins.  For additional information Doug and Jane can be contacted at 636-293-0070 or 636-272-0986 or by e-mail at dougflora@charter.net

Every student who trains at a branch club gets to train once a month with Master Blevins at Blue Wave.  Tae Kwon Do is not exclusive to a specific demographic but provides benefits for everyone regardless of age or physical ability.  Tae Kwon Do teaches patience, focus and determination among other useful life skills.

Classes are on Tuesday/Thursday at 6:30-7:30 p.m.

Blue Wave Branch of Josephville

The Josephville branch of Blue Wave Martial Arts & Fitness opened in May 2000.  The instructor John Mee began training at Blue Wave Martial Arts & Fitness in August 1990. He earned his 2nd Degree Black Belt from Blue Wave in September 1999.

The students of the Josephville branch range in age. The branch trains twice a week for an hour.  Classes are held at St. Joseph School 1415 Josephville Wentzville, MO.  Classes at the Josephville branch are structured in the same way as John learned from Master David Blevins.  For additional information John can be contacted at (636) 280-2256 or by e-mail at jmee000@centurytel.net

Blue Wave Branch of St. Charles

The St. Charles branch of the Blue Wave Martial Arts & Fitness opened in April 2004.  The instructor Julie Hawkins began training at Blue Wave Martial Arts & Fitness in September 1993.  She earned her 2nd Degree Black Belt on October 4, 2004.  She is an meeting planner for the American Soybean Association where she has worked for 12 years. 

The students of the St. Charles branch range in age from 6 to 60 with many of the students being family members. The branch trains twice a week for an hour.  Classes are held on the 2nd floor of the St. Peter Parish Center. The Blue Wave Branch of St. Peters

The St. Peters branch of the Blue Wave Martial Arts & Fitness opened in 2002.  The instructor's are Sharon and Jamie Thornton.  Sharon has been training and teaching for 17 years and is a 3rd Degree Black Belt.  Jamie began training at Blue Wave Martial Arts & Fitness in June 1990.  She earned her 2nd Degree Black Belt on April 25, 2008.  Sharon also teaches Yoga and fitness at the St. Charles Community College and is a certified hypnotherapist.  Jamie teaches Tae Kwon Do and Self-Defense at the St. Charles Community College.

Blue Wave Branch of Richmond Heights

The Richmond Heights branch of Blue Wave Martial Arts & Fitness opened in May 2006.  The instructor Jason Carlton began training at Blue Wave Martial Arts & Fitness in January 1990.  He earned his 3rd Degree Black Belt on September 7, 2008.  Jason is a store manager at Quick Trip.  Jason is assisted by Zoe and Klio Coppotelli who began training in 2003.  On August 16, 2008 both girls earned their 1st Degree Black Belt from Blue Wave. 

The students of the Richmond Heights branch range in age starting at 8 years of age.  The branch trains twice a week for an hour and fifteen minutes.  The branch meets at "The Heights" Community Center 8001 Dale Avenue Richmond Heights, MO 63117.  Classes at the Richmond Heights branch are structured in the same way as Jason learned from Master David Blevins.  For additional information Jason can be reached at  636-399-5526 or e-mail at jasonkc@charter.net
